VERMONT ECLIPSE

 

Monday April 8 a solar eclipse will capture the nation's attention.  The greater Rutland area will experience a partial solar eclipse of approximately 97%-98% coverage.   The partial eclipse in the area begins at 2:14 PM reaching a peak at 3:26 PM and ending at 4:37PM. 

Areas north and west of Rutland will be in the path of totality, meaning a total solar eclipse.   Learn more about the path of the total solar eclipse thanks to NASA here
