Movie Review-Good Boy

A supernatural horror film told from the dog's perspective? Well it could be good or a total gimmick! I saw "Good Boy" a couple weeks ago starring a real life Novia Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Indy!

The film is pretty much standard fare as far as the plot's concerned. You have a young man with a lung disease of some kind & his dog that re-locate from the city to his grandfather's old, uninhabited house in the middle of nowhere in the woods! Of course the house may be haunted and he ignores warnings from his sister and then strange and horrifying things happen. I won't giveaway the rest of the plot & story, but the main fascination here is Indy! He pulls off a brilliant performance!

First time filmmaker, Ben Leonberg spent 400 days shooting on location in New Jersey! The most interesting behind the scenes tidbits I've found is the fact that Indy had no idea he was in a movie and if you stay through the credits there is some fun behind the scenes info that shows how Indy was coached!

If you're a dog love, you HAVE TO see this! It's rated PG-13 so there's nothing too violent or scary and best of all you can see how much Indy is indeed loved!
