The Love Of Horror Movies Runs Deeper than Jump Scares!

I saw an interesting article that notes that the Gen Z audience is drawn to horror movies is because the films (for the most part) doesn't pretend everything is fine, they don't offer clear, concise and happy endings! It's interesting the article mentions Gen Z specifically, because me, as a child from the slasher 80's, I kind of felt the same way!

It's refreshing to me that (at least in the horror film genre), that some things DO NOT change!  Anxiety, grief, dread, uncertainty, social collapse, etc. are amongst the key themes that have made the horror genre popular for over 100 years now! If you want to delve into this article and read all the details, click here!

Whether you're a fan of horror movies or not, you can't deny how emotionally truthful these films can be (some of them anyhow).

I review and talk about horror movies, quite a bit! Click on the link below and browse hundreds of episodes (especially if you're a horror movie fan)!
